Quick Answer

Why choose TPU over rigid filaments?

TPU is a thermoplastic polyurethane with rubber-like elasticity. Where PLA and ABS crack or deform permanently, TPU stretches, absorbs impacts and returns to shape, which makes it the right material for seals, straps, bumpers, phone cases and wearable parts.

4 reasons

Four practical shades, white, red, blue and transparent, cover clean, colorful and see-through designs in one flexible product family.

Flexible filaments punish loose tolerances, so this TPU is held to a strict 1.75mm diameter with laser-measured control and smooth, tangle-free winding for jam-free flexible printing.

Prints on standard 1.75mm FDM machines with the right slow-speed profile

a direct-drive or well-guided Bowden setup gives clean, elastic results on Creality, Prusa, Bambu Lab and Anycubic printers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose TPU over rigid filaments?
TPU is a thermoplastic polyurethane with rubber-like elasticity. Where PLA and ABS crack or deform permanently, TPU stretches, absorbs impacts and returns to shape, which makes it the right material for seals, straps, bumpers, phone cases and wearable parts.
Will flexible TPU work on my printer?
It uses the standard 1.75mm diameter, so any FDM printer can try it. Direct-drive extruders give the cleanest results; on Bowden machines use a short, well-guided path and a slower speed for reliable feeding.
What print settings do you recommend?
Print slowly with a nozzle temperature around 220°C and a heated bed for the first layer. Reduce or disable retraction to avoid clogs, and keep the filament path short and unobstructed because flexible material can buckle under pressure.
How long does a spool last?
Because TPU is often printed with low infill and thin walls, one spool goes a long way. Runtime depends on part size and density, a phone case, for example, uses only a small part of the spool.
What about the transparent shade?
The transparent SKU gives clear, soft parts for seals, sleeves and light-diffusing covers, while white, red and blue offer clean solid options. All four shades are consistent within each batch for matched product lines.
How fast can I print TPU?
TPU prefers slow, steady speeds, significantly slower than rigid PLA. Once your extruder feeds reliably, you can raise the speed step by step and watch for skipped steps or underextrusion.
Is it for prototypes or finished parts?
It is a finished-part material: grips, gaskets, phone cases, wristbands, bumpers and soft prototypes go straight into use. The elasticity and fatigue resistance are the point, so functional testing is the best demonstration.
How should I store it?
TPU absorbs moisture and becomes stringy when wet, so keep the spool sealed with the desiccant pouch and store at room temperature away from sunlight. Dry it before printing if it has been exposed to humidity for a long time.
