PLA 1.75mm 3D Printer Filament Premium Quality 8 Colors

Brand: Yiqiu3D · Model: PLA · A model set falls apart visually when the colours do not match: order eight shades from eight sellers and one arrives glossier, one duller, one slightly thicker, and the finished set looks assembled from different materials. This Premium PLA Filament 8 Colors range is produced on one line from one base PLA compound, so the colour changes and the flow behaviour does not. Every spool is held at 1.75mm on a round spool and checked by laser on the running strand, which is how a display.

Quick Answer

Why do the colours in this range print the same instead of each behaving like a different material?

All the shades come from one base PLA compound on the same line, so melt behaviour, winding and diameter control are shared and only the pigment changes. Flow and first-layer settings therefore carry from one shade to the next. A small flow tweak is sometimes useful between the lightest and the most saturated colour, but the spool you load after a colour change is still the same filament family.

Is it right for my project?

Best for: For architectural and scale models where dimensional consistency across a set matters - available in 9 colours; lead colour White. Not ideal for: Avoid where the part must flex or absorb impact - TPU is the better material there - available in 9 colours; lead colour White.

Product highlights

3 reasons

What you buy is a stocked, orderable palette rather than a one-off dye lot: the range covers White, Black, Red, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Green and Blue, with Silk Gold as the accent shade. Because pigment and nothing else is the variable, a multi-colour display, signage panel or scale model set prints as one job on one profile, and a reorder of a single colour is picked from the same family your approved set came from.

The specification is deliberately narrow so a set stays consistent: 1.75mm diameter on a standard round spool, 1 kg net filament per spool, and a 190-220 °C nozzle window shared by every shade, with no heated chamber needed. Moving from one colour to the next costs a spool swap, not a recalibration. RoHS documentation available upon request.

It runs on the machines most buyers already own - Bambu Lab, Creality and Prusa style FDM printers - and the round spool sits in a standard holder or dry box without an adapter. The practical gain is in matched work: after a colour change the part that comes off the plate still fits the set it belongs to, so a model studio, a teaching kit or a display batch can be built in a single production run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do the colours in this range print the same instead of each behaving like a different material?
All the shades come from one base PLA compound on the same line, so melt behaviour, winding and diameter control are shared and only the pigment changes. Flow and first-layer settings therefore carry from one shade to the next. A small flow tweak is sometimes useful between the lightest and the most saturated colour, but the spool you load after a colour change is still the same filament family.
Will these spools run on the FDM printers I already have?
Yes. This is 1.75mm FDM filament on a standard round spool, so it runs on Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa and other common 1.75mm machines, and the spool fits standard holders and dry boxes with no adapter. Each spool is 1 kg net filament per spool at 1.75mm diameter.
What printing temperature do you recommend?
A nozzle temperature of 190-220 °C covers the whole colour range and is where walls fuse cleanly at normal PLA speeds. Heated bed settings depend on your printer and build surface, so keep your own machine profile rather than taking a bed number from us. Part cooling as used for standard PLA is fine.
How much filament is on one spool, and what length does that give?
Each spool carries 1 kg net filament per spool at 1.75mm diameter. We sell by net weight rather than by a nominal length figure, because usable strand length moves with run tolerance. Treat the spool as 1 kg of print material and plan a set from your slicer estimate, then order the colours together so one delivery covers the whole job.
What is this PLA range best used for?
Architectural and scale models, model sets printed across several colours, teaching aids, display pieces and prototypes that need clean surfaces - anywhere a set has to look and measure consistently. It is not the grade for parts that must flex or absorb impact, where TPU is the better material, and it is not intended for outdoor exposure or sustained heat.
How is the filament packed, and how should I store it?
Each spool is vacuum sealed in a moisture-barrier bag with a desiccant pack and shipped on a round spool, so it arrives dry. Once a bag is opened, reseal it or move the spool into a dry box with desiccant and keep it out of direct sunlight. Damp filament shows up as popping, extra stringing and a duller surface on light colours.
