What makes this laser blue two-tone rather than a plain silk PLA?
It is a glossy silk PLA plastic filament: the effect comes from the surface sheen and the two pigment bands, with no metal in the material. Both tones run continuously along a single strand, so they both appear across one printed wall and the balance shifts with the viewing angle. Everything else is ordinary PLA behaviour - nozzle 200-225 °C and your usual PLA cooling setting.
