High Precision PLA Filament 1.75mm Low Warp Multicolor 8 Shades

Brand: Yiqiu3D · Model: PLA · The hidden cost in a print run is the copy that comes out different from the first one: a strand that varies in cross-section makes the extruder lay uneven walls, and a fit that worked on copy one fails on copy forty. High Precision PLA Filament is held at a nominal 1.75mm on a round spool and checked by laser on the running strand, so the extruder sees a steadier cross-section and walls repeat across a run - the property jig makers, fixture builders and assembly-fit prototyping depend on.

  • Large flat work is where a run usually fails: corners lift
  • The specification is deliberately narrow: 1.75mm diameter on a round spool for steady feeding
  • It runs inside the same window on every machine in the shop - Bambu Lab X1-style and Creality Ender-style FDM printers

Quick Answer

What does high precision mean on this filament?

It means the strand is held at a nominal 1.75mm on a round spool and checked by laser on the running strand, so the cross-section the extruder sees is steadier and the walls of copy forty match the walls of copy one. We quote the nominal diameter and the net weight; where a drawing needs a tolerance band we will say what we can document rather than publish a figure we cannot back.

Is it right for my project?

Best for: Great for signage, props and prototypes that need to look right rather than survive abuse - available in 9 colours; lead colour White. Not ideal for: Avoid for anything outdoors or under sustained heat; choose ASA or ABS instead - available in 9 colours; lead colour White.

Product highlights

3 reasons

Large flat work is where a run usually fails: corners lift, a panel bows, and the part no longer sits flush on the assembly. This grade is chosen for wide, thin geometry - it prints on open-frame FDM machines with no heated chamber, keeps a panel flat enough to sit on a bench, and the same strand serves precision-fit parts and flat parts inside one production schedule.

The specification is deliberately narrow: 1.75mm diameter on a round spool for steady feeding, 1 kg net filament per spool, a 190-220 °C nozzle window shared by every colour, and no heated chamber requirement. We publish the nominal diameter and the net weight and do not print a tolerance band we cannot document. RoHS documentation available upon request.

It runs inside the same window on every machine in the shop - Bambu Lab X1-style and Creality Ender-style FDM printers, standard spool holder, standard profile, no enclosure. For a farm or a workshop the gain is repeatability: a fixture, a jig or a bracket can be re-printed next month on the same settings and still fit the parts already in the box.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does high precision mean on this filament?
It means the strand is held at a nominal 1.75mm on a round spool and checked by laser on the running strand, so the cross-section the extruder sees is steadier and the walls of copy forty match the walls of copy one. We quote the nominal diameter and the net weight; where a drawing needs a tolerance band we will say what we can document rather than publish a figure we cannot back.
Which printers does it suit?
Any 1.75mm FDM machine: Bambu Lab X1-style, Creality Ender-style, Prusa and comparable open-frame printers, with the round spool in a standard holder and no enclosure or heated chamber required. Each spool is 1 kg net filament per spool.
What settings give the most repeatable result?
Run a nozzle temperature of 190-220 °C on the profile you have already validated, keep flow settings fixed between runs, and re-check first-layer height only when you change build surface. Heated bed values depend on your printer and plate, so keep your own machine profile rather than a bed number from us.
How much material is on one spool?
Each spool carries 1 kg net filament per spool at 1.75mm diameter. We sell by net weight rather than a nominal length, because usable strand length moves with run tolerance; for farm planning treat the spool as 1 kg of material and work from your slicer estimate per part.
Are the colour batches stable enough for repeat production?
White, Black, Red, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Green and Blue are stocked with Silk Gold as the accent shade, and shades come from fixed colour batches, so a reorder of the same colour stays close to the batch you validated. White is the lead colour for production buyers. Order the colours your machines run together so a production changeover does not need a fresh profile.
Where is this grade the right choice, and where is it not?
Production parts, jigs and fixtures, assembly-fit prototypes, flat panels and plates, and teaching models where the same file is printed over and over. It is not the grade for parts that must flex or take impact, where TPU or PETG suits better, and not for outdoor exposure or sustained heat, where ASA is the material to use.
How is it packed and stored between runs?
Each spool is vacuum sealed in a moisture-barrier bag with a desiccant pack and shipped on a round spool, so it arrives dry. Reseal partly used spools or keep them in a dry box with desiccant, away from direct sunlight: moisture shows up as popping, extra stringing and inconsistent walls, which is exactly what a repeat run cannot afford.
