What actually gives this filament its silk gloss finish, and is the material still PLA?
The gloss is a surface property of the strand, so it is already there when the part leaves the printer and no polishing, varnish or spray is required. The material remains PLA plastic with a silk-like sheen - a decorative finish on a plastic part, not a metal part - and it prints in the normal 190-220 °C window.
