What is Carbon Fiber PETG, and how does it differ from standard PETG?
It is a fibre-reinforced PETG composite: short carbon fibre is carried inside the PETG matrix, so rigidity and dimensional stability come from the reinforcement rather than from a thicker wall. That is why a carbon-filled jig or bracket holds its geometry under load and in a warm workshop where plain PETG relaxes and bows. The trade-off is abrasion - the fibre wears brass nozzles, so a hardened or steel nozzle is recommended. It prints at 250 °C nozzle temperature.
